The Lake County Welfare Office is committed to providing support and relief to indigent individuals and families who are residents of Lake County. Depending on funding and eligibility, financial assistance may be available for housing, utilities, food, transportation, medical, and burial/funeral.

County assistance is a resource of last resort, available only after all other personal resources, governmental programs, insurance benefits, family assistance, or other aid have been exhausted.

The Lake County Welfare Office is also committed to helping our residents connect with services and resources that are available within the community.
