  • Dependents & Survivors Education and Training

  • South Dakota Veterans Bonus Program


You may be eligible for VA benefits if you are:

  • a veteran
  • a veteran's dependent
  • a surviving spouse, child or parent of a deceased veteran
  • an active duty military service member
  • a member of the Reserve or National Guard

Tax Assessment Freeze Program Deadline
Friday, March 1, 2024

Elderly and disabled South Dakotans have until April 1, 2023 to apply for property tax relief under South Dakota's Assessment Freeze for the Elderly and Disabled Program. Applications are available at the local treasurer offices and on the Department of Revenue's website here.
