Purpose
The Weed and Pest Board works to suppress, control, and eradicate noxious weeds and declared pests infestations through chemical, biological, and/or cultural control methods. In 2017, approximately 1,100 miles of roads were sprayed.

The Weed and Pest board meets at least once annually, usually in the spring. It may also meet other times throughout the year, as needed.

NOTICE: Weather permitting, the Highway Department will begin chip sealing on Monday, August 10th. The roads include:
445th Ave from 220th St to 226th St
223rd St from 445th Ave to 448th Ave
229th St from 446th Ave to 454th Ave
233rd St from 451st Ave to Territorial Road
234th St from Territorial Road to 454th Ave
454th Ave from 234th St to 241st St
(Total: 28 centerline miles)
