EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY – VICTIM AND WITNESS ASSISTANT / RECORDS SPECIALIST (PART TIME)

Salary: $17.25 per hour DOEQ

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice, or related field OR significant related work experience. Comparable combination of education and experience may be considered. Must successfully complete pre-employment background process.

Preferred Qualifications: Possession of, or the eligibility to receive, a South Dakota social work license.

Description: This position is responsible for providing direct services to the victims of crime and liaison work between victims, the State’s Attorney, Court Services, and law enforcement. This position is responsible for complex record keeping including compiling statistics, data entry, filing, proofreading, scanning, retrieval of reports and other forms, and maintenance of computerized records management system.

Hours: Approximately 4-5 hours per day, Monday through Thursday, no more than 19 hours per week.
